WOW! The price of gas fell to $3.88! Isn't it wild to think that $3.88 is a low price?

It has been very noticible to me these days that $$$ isn't going as far as it used to. Everything is more expensive. We work hard at being a good steward of our $$. There are days it just doesn't go as far as we want.

This goes double for raising children. We would love to give them everything they want but there are days when giving everything they need is a huge accomplishment as a parent.

I have been reminded in my 25 years of marriage and raising 4 children that there is nothing better you can give your children than the knowledge of where you will spend eternity. For you to have an intimate personal relationship with God is what He desires for both you and Him. An intimate personal relationship with Christ will enable you to be the best spouse, parent, and friend you can be.

Billy Graham once said:
"Children will invariably talk, eat, walk, think, respond, and act like their parents. Give them a target to shoot at. Give them a goal to work toward. Give them a pattern that they can see clarly, and you give them something that gold and silver cannot buy."

So, if you are stressing out about $$$, keep in mind that the most important things your child wants and needs don't require any $$ at all!!!!
